Windows 10: Forza horizon 5 PC steam version Dualsense controller not recognizing

Hello im having issue in forza horizon. My game isn't recognizing my controller. I've tried updating the game, the controller, and even the drivers, but it's still not working. I also used DS4 windows before, and it worked fine when i first downloaded the game. However, after reinstalling the game, the controller is no longer showing up what should i do

Can i transfer progress from Microsoft store version of Forza Horizon 5 over to steam version?

I want to buy Forza Horizon 5 on Steam because I've been playing with the game pass version and I wonder if my progress will be on the steam version if I buy it
