    Forza Horizon5 crashes on launch.


    I thought this question would be more suited for the Windows section, sorry if it is not.I use an iMac 2020 Running Windows. My computer uses an Intel i9-10910 CPU, Radeon Pro 5700xt iMac version, different from the consumer card with vram, And has 40gb of ram installed.I have been able to run Forza Horizon 3-4 on this computer, I had recently installed 5 to a external NTFS formatted hard drive. When I have attempted to play it, it tells me I have an out of date driver which I do not, as I have the maximum possible for my configuration. and when I attempt to run it and bypass the warning,

    • Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?

    I suggest you refer and follow the steps mentioned in the article and check if that resolves the issue. Refer to the article

    temporary solution!!!

    For everyone who's having a crash at the launch of the game, my games crashes everytime! So tried to uninstall one of the DLC's, I have the Hotweels DLC. So I uninstalled that. Launched the game and it works!

    So:

    -Forza Horizon 3

    -Hotweels DLC

    -Blizzard Mountain DLC

    1. Uninstall one of the DLC's (I'd suggest hotweels since it's the smallest dlc)

    1.2 just to be sure reset in App & Features

    2. Click play Forza from the start menu (your game should work by this step!)

    3. Install hotweels DLC again.

    Your game should work! this worked for me.
