Windows 10: Found extra files with parentheses

    Found extra files with parentheses


    When browsing in File Expl I see what looks like duplicate files with dates and what looks like random numbers in parentheses, like these: 01-2011 2018_07_04 15_51_10 UTC.xls and 01-2011.xls. I can open both and as far as I see they are duplicates. What are these files and are they needed? Do they serve a purpose?TIA -

    File Explorer not showing Extra large icons

    Hi,

    The icons might be set to appear in medium or small icons. For you to get extra large icons, follow these steps:

    • Open File Explorer.
    • Right-click in an empty space and navigate to View > Extra large icons.

    Duplicate quotation marks and parentheses

    All of a sudden, when I want to put something in quotes or parentheses, I'm getting two back-to-back, which is making me crazy. I've noticed it mostly in browsers. It's extra work to have to back and move the cursor in between them to type. How do I
    disable this?
