Windows 10: found that a game folder is taking up some space. i'm planning to delete it but i'm worried...

i found that my Warthunder steam folder has been taking approximately 4.17 GB of storage on my SSD. i'm planning to delete it but i'm hesitant since i'm worried that once i delete it all my in-game progress would be lost and i'd have to start over again from scratch. but since the account i'm using is my Gaijin.net account and not my steam account, i'm hopeful that it won't affect my in-game progress. however i'm quite doubtful of this. so, will deleting the folder delete my progress along with it? will it not affect my Progress in my Gaijin.net account and only my steam account will be affect

Hidden folders

I installed `Kane and Lynch` on my PC twice in Program Files(x86) folder but I can`t find them (2 folders with game). But free space on my HDD is lower. So there`re those folders on my hdd. I use option `unhide` hidden folders but still can`t find them. Any suggestions? How can i delete those hidden folders?

When I run istallation for this game I can see those folders in Program Files(x86) folde.

I`m using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

Thanks a lot for your help.

1. I took system restore as suggested .
2. Took ownership and deleted 2 folders of same game ( ~ 5..5 GB ).
3. Too many registries got listed so I was really afraid to delete anything. Left it as is.
4. Decided to restart the PC to see any issues. Nothing wrong happened.

Planning to delete the games one by one as I need space. I don't know if all of them will be smooth to delete in terms of registry left as is.
