Windows 10: FPS performance issue

Specs:RAM: 8gb 7.36 usableProcessor: AMD Ryzen 5 4600H with Radeon GraphicsNVIDIA Geforce GTX 1650Storage: 256gb I run my games off an external 1tb hard driveExternal Monitor Hertz: 76hzMy gaming laptop HP Gaming Pavilion 15 has been doing great, but my fps isn’t constant and feels kind of bad for what I bought. Not sure what the issue might be. I am able to run quality games but mainly at pretty low settings. I usually get about 70-90 FPS with lower settings on my laptop. Although in games like DOOM Eternal, it’s a heavy difference with it stuttering from 100+ to 70-40 and lags a bit th

Fortnite FPS Problems

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

I would suggest you to perform System Maintenance troubleshooter on the computer and check if it fixes the issue.

Please follow the steps to perform System maintenance check to improve performance of the computer:

I also suggest you to install the latest Windows updates and check.
