    FPS problem in Adobe Flash Player video playback


    Hi

    I'm watching a TV show on hulu.com named Americas Got Talent which support 60 fps but the playback always drop a lot of frames and the video cropping a little bit. it never lock at 60 fps. so i took a HTML5 video test at 30fps vs 60fps - Compare footage from various games. and it runs very smooth. no frame drops or lags. i tested this video at Big Buck Bunny 60fps 4K - Official Blender Foundation Short Film - YouTube in 1080p-60fps in Adobe Flash Player playback and it drops a lot of frames. I turned on HTML5 support, test the video again and it runs very smooth without frame drops. so it's the Adobe Flash Player problem. Hulu.com still not support HTML5, so is there a way to fix the problem in Flash Player that force to playback in 60fps? Hardware acceleration is always turned on by default, of coruse, but turning off HW acceleration makes the playback lag more.

    My computer screen keeps freezing when I play a game on my Firefox browser and open Task Manager.

    disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

    Go to this Adobe Flash Player Help page
    http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-pl...    .

    Right-click on the Flash Player logo on that page.

    Click on Settings in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.

    Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel.

    Remove the check mark from Enable hardware acceleration.

    Click Close to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.

    Restart Firefox.
