Windows 10: Fptm corrupted / changed occurred and now I'm locked out

I left my pc on at night and when I woke up and went to use it it said that fptm structure was changed or corrupted and that I could either stick to old structure or pick new. I picked to stay with old structure and logged in like normal. But then the next time I tried to turn on my pc it gave same prompts and pressing to stick with old structure locked me out of my pc. So I tried again and this time picked yes but I was still logged out Basically right now it says my name but then says that because of security settings I don't have a pin anymore and need to create a new one. Which I cannot do

Lock screen picture won't change

Something seems to be preventing you from customizing the lock screen. This may be due to recent changes on the system or some corrupted components. To guide you better in resolving the problem, please answer these questions:

• Did you install any programs or updates before you encountered this problem?
• Are you able to change other Personalization items in
  Settings aside from Lock screen?
• What suggestions have you looked into?

You can also use the Photos app to set a different lock screen image. Follow these steps:

• Using File Explorer, locate the image that you want to set as your lock screen.
• Double-click on the image file to open it using the Photos app.
• In case a different app is set to open your images by default, right-click on the image instead, choose
  Open with then select Photos.
• Once you have the image open using the Photos app, click on the See more button (
  
  ).
• Choose Set as.
• Select Set as lock screen.

Let us know if the suggestions allow you to change your lock screen image on the computer.

Lock Screen keeps changing

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Windows Spotlight picks the photos from Bing and displays them in the lock screen. I understand that you have set a picture and it is getting changed automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps to select the Picture that you want to be displayed on the lock screen. Please follow the steps mentioned below to set a Picture to lock screen:

1. Press and hold Windows + I key on the keyboard to open settings.
   
2. Click on Personalization.
   
3. Click on Lock screen.
   
4. Click on the drop down under Background and select
   Picture.
   
5. Click on Browse and select the picture that you want to set.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
