Windows 10: frame drops to 10 fps for 3 seconds

Hello, this is my first time making a post here but i really do need help, a long time i got this laptop and it was working perfectly fine till one day i randomly started getting those lag spike in games i used to play on a daily basis, it's not normal lag spikes tho, my game is usually running fine then fps drops down to 5-10 fps for like 3 seconds then goes back to normal and repeats. i now get these lag spikes even when doing really simple things such as watching youtube or browsing the internet.i've also looked at task manager after a couple minutes of playing and i have noticed that my cp

Gaming Frame Rate Drop

I was monitoring the VRAM usage with GPU-Z. In Battlefield 3 there was a scene that a tank was shooting at me every 2-3 seconds, so the frames were dropping a lot, however GPU-Z was not showing any usage above 1800 MB.

Also when the frames drop the coil whine disappears for a second (suggesting that the card is not working that hard), so can it be another component that is bottlenecking it?

In the same time when I first installed Far Cry 4 it was running at 70 fps, whereas now it won’t go above 40 fps, therefore I suspect it may be a defective component.

 

Sudden FPS drops.

Hey guys! I had a question. Yesterday my computer had REALLY slow frame per second. it went into 4 FPS, this is strange since it never happend before. It happens when i open Roblox and Discord, i have tried updating it but it stayed the same and sometimes worse, the frame drop happens every 5 seconds and now its every 3 seconds. One update i had was framework and i was relieved but it just made everything worse. I have tried resetting it and updating it, i also eliminated a whole bunch of files. If you have an anwser for this please tell me how to fix it.
