Massive frame time spikes in games.

Nope. Even with a new SATA SSD and installing just the one game where I was experiencing the huge frame time spikes. It's still present. Maybe it's just that game and it's poor coding. But I did notice the frame time spikes wasn't as huge as before. I have no clue here. I noticed disabling a bunch of unnecessary services it made a difference and the micro stutters were reduced. These were the services I disabled.

    • Phone Service
    • Fax
    • Remote Desktop Services
    • Remote Desktop Configuration
    • Windows Mobile Hotspot Service
    • Remote Registry
    • WalletService
    • AllJoyn Router Service
    • Secondary logon
    • Connected User Experiences and Telemetry
    • Device Management Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) Push message Routing Service
    • Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service
    • Downloaded Maps Manager
    • Parental Control
    • Print Spooler
Maybe it's one of these services?

I know it's not a hardware issue. This comes down to Microsoft, NVIDIA or both.

I'm starting to think the NVIDIA 30 series in general is just a bad defected product all around.

That or Windows 11 Vista Edition is just bad.

Not sure what is causing this huge issue. I've reinstalled Windows several times. Went back to 10, back to 11. Even tried Windows 11 22H2. These frame time spikes and stutters are insane. I've tried other hardware such as new CPU, GPU, SSD, MOBO and PSU. Still persists.

    Here is an example.

I've also tried the Insider NVIDIA 525.14 and the problem still persists.

Please fix. It's been a problem since February.

    Frame spikes

Disk usage spikes to 100% and Low frame rate

It might be that your video card, despite having dedicated RAM, is also using some of your system RAM. If at the same time the demand for RAM exceeds that available, you could have a lot of disk activity related to your page file on disk as things are moved back and forth between RAM and your page file.

Of course, adding RAM as Daz1967 suggests below will make that less likely.

    This view may help

It's also worth running a check on your disk (there's no information on what you have).
E.g. Hard disk sentinel (trial) will verify your disk
Crystal DiskMark will check throughput capacity.
