Windows 10: Framerate on all games experiencing an extreme decrease from past experience

whenever I start up any game that would normally run pretty well on my PC it experiences extremely low frames per second, going from 70 - 100 before the issue to 10 - 20 as of now. I suspect the problem may be because of the recent installation of Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, however this may also be an issue that has been a long time coming.Whenever I load up a game, my GPU activity & render activity shoot up to 99% usage while my CPU activity remains low at 15 - 35% which has led me to suspect my issue is of a graphical nature.ATTEMPTED FIXESUpdating graphics driversAdjusting in-game g

Experiencing Windows 10 Framerate difficulties

I've been experiencing a few lag spikes, dropping framerates and MPs lag, I am wondering are there any ways to fix this cause?

It happened after a few months when I got my new Gaming Laptop, Acter Nitro 5 which has Windows 10.

whenever it starts up it works fine, once around 15s(>30s) passes, it starts to occur these issues

Request: Higher framerate for games

Aaah, yes, you're definitely right that the performance depends on the developer: I was behind the times and thought that the framerate was still limited to 30 fps by the operating system/XNA framework. Turns out that the framerate can now be increased
up to 60 fps:

"The XNA Framework on Windows Phone OS 7.1 supports the native device refresh rate, up to 60 Hz. If you set the
PresentationParameters.PresentationInterval property to
PresentInterval.One, then the PresentInterval.One value is used, targeting the native device refresh rate."

Unstable framerate at boot on Windows 11

Hi,

Rig:

MB - Asus X670E+ wifi

CPU - AMD Ryz5 7600x

GPU - Asus Dual AMD Radeon XT 6700 OC

RAM - Crucial DDR5

Monitor - Samsung G5 Odyssey (144Hz, display port >1.2)

Vsync enabled

Problem statement:

sometimes, when the pc starts up, the framerate is extremely unstable (oscillating from 5 to 60 randomly); when I launch a game and then reboot the system, the framerate come back to normal (ie - 60+ fps on elden ring 1440p maximum settings). Then I proceed to normal computer usage until the next 'faulty reboot'.

What has been already done:

- updated all the drivers

- updated bios

- clean OS install

- GPU stress testing (ok when framerate stable, not ok when framerate unstable, not surprisingly)

Does someone have any ideas on how to fix the issue?
