    Kaspersky Lab's
    RannohDecryptor tool
    will work for those infected with older variants of CryptXXX. However, Kaspersky's tool
    will not work on CryptXXX 3.x variants...it will detect but not decrypt...see

    Trend Micro released a
    Ransomware File Decryptor
    for victims of CryptXXX v1/v2/v3/v4/v5 but advises
    files encrypted by CryptXXX V3 cannot be fully recovered to 100% (partial recovery)...read the section titled Important Note about Decrypting CryptXXX V3.

    Dr.Web has advised
    Files compromised by CryptXXX before June 2016 can be decrypted by Doctor Web
    .

    Fabian Wosar (the head of Emsisoft's malware lab) has been regularly releasing new decryption tools. Kaspersky and Trend
    Micro have been updating existing tools to include new ransomware variants. Dr.Web is not releasing decryptor tools for the general public but they are providing decryption service and support for victims.

    Demonslay335
    (aka Michael Gillespie) has been releasing decryption tools for new ransomware variants he is able to defeat.

    The No More Ransom Project

    I read about that at No More Ransom 15 New Ransomware Decryption Tools Available for Free which is what you mention. Sadly it looks like the tools are hosted and not available for download, so somewhere a copy of your files may remain behind in some server, despite their claim that its deleted... Im sceptical especially since the trend (especially from most governments) is to gain access to peoples data by any and all means.

    See The No More Ransom Project legal page which is not in English but says...

    They should make all these tools available for download and self update-able because lets face it this is somewhat unacceptable for most usage where the data is confidential or of a sensitive nature.

    Not so great news imo for all user segments.
