    Free M365 Developer subscription E5 not working?


    When signing up for the Microsoft 365 Developer subscription E5 after signing up, I've gotten taken to a website called "Microsoft 365 Developer Program" I thought it would be a Microsoft 365 Business subscription with 25 free user licenses but it has not have I misunderstood it?

    Windows Enterprise Subscription via M365 E5

    Hey all,
    Maybe someone has ran into this and has a solution.

    We have a range of Windows 10/11 Enterprise (Pro default) laptops which all work perfectly.
    They pull their Enterprise subscription from their M365 E5 subscription without issue.

    However, we have a few (mine included) that not only have an E5 subscription but also a different tenant subscription at a lower license level (Enterprise not included).
    Every 3 months or so I have to remove the non E5 subscription from the laptop so that it can poll Microsoft and re-enable the Enterprise subscription from the E5 that's still linked.
    Doesn't seem to bad except we also use DirectAccess (currently migrating to AlwaysOnVPN) which is dependant on Enterprise. As soon as it demotes to Professional it losses all of it's configuration for DA which then means an office visit for group policy to reconfigure DA.

    Have I missed something here or has Microsoft not accounted for users having multiple subscriptions (ie E5 and Home/Business Essentials).
    At the moment it appears that the subscription check stops after detecting the first non E5 instead of checking all the subscriptions.
