Windows 10: Free Mobile APP Of MS WORD ?

Hello,

Just came across the free (called "mobile") downloads of MS WORD, etc. for W10.
From what I can see, they really are free.

Sure I am missing something:

If free, why would anyone buy Office ?

What am I, as usual, missing ?
Thought I would ask here first before downloading. Pros and cons of, etc. ?

Not sure what it is called, but apparently there id also a basic WORD word processor included with
Windows 10. Better than the previous ?

Any comments on (either) would be appreciated.

(or just download the free Libre Suite ?)

word mobile app

As written above, the word mobile app does not exist in the store (when press it in app list, the page of standard word appears). Is there anyway to fix it without resetting?

Word Mobile App. I've never downloaded it, but it's shown In the app list as inactive with pending mark. When I press it, the page of usual word app opens, and is shown as installed. How can I remove this inactive pending app?

Yes, thank you. There was nothing to scroll. They gave me three choices: MS Word, WordPerfect, or choose another app. "Choose another app?" What app? I clicked "Choose another app, and again I had the choice between MS Word and Word Perfect. This time the check box was there, the check box I'd been searching for. I checked it and immediately all the icons in explorer that had been MS Word changed to WordPerfect. That's what I wanted to see.
