Windows 10: Free upgrade to Windows 11 screen displays and entire MS surface is frozen.

I booted my Surface and got a full screen blue message saying "Now unlocked: You're eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 11" with various options. I clicked "Get it" button since text said it would download in background and I could use my PC. Now entire PC is frozen, still on blue screen, no options work. Task manager doesn't load. Only thing to do is hard reboot, which resultsin same blue upgrade screen and no working options.

Surface Pro 2 screen not displaying entire screen

My screen is no longer displaying across the entire surface, there is about 1.5 inch of black bar on both sides of the screen (horizontal view). I have restarted my computer, used windows update, and also changed resolution to the highest resolution.

I have updated to Windows 10 and it was working perfectly. How do I get my screen stretched back to the full screen?

 

Split Screen Expansion (MS Surface GO Tablet)

I use a MS Surface GO tablet with Windows 10 OS, (with most current version).
I use a program called GSAK which utilizes a split screen feature displaying a map at the bottom half of the screen. The top half displays a database list of line items.
When I try to expand the map display "by clicking the bottom line" of the database display and moving it upwards it does not work. In other words I cannot expand the map display.

I use the same program on my desktop PC with Windows 10 OS (with most current version) with no problems.
This problem only happens on my Surface GO tablet.

Did you make any changes in the Display settings prior to this issue?

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the display drivers on the system from the manufacturing website and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Steps to uninstall the Display Drivers.

• Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.
• Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
• Search for the Display driver from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that
  and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer and install the latest driver from the manufacturer website.
