    Freeze and BSOD after waking from Sleep Mode


    A few days ago my PC froze for about 30 seconds right after waking up and signing in and then came back to life unfroze with no signs of issues. I noticed a few hours later that one of my SSDs wasn't showing up in file explorer, device manager, or disk management. It only reappeared after restarting. Not sure if it's related. Today, it woke up and froze again, but this time it went to BSOD showing DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.     system freezes up in sleep mode, one monitor on and the other a sleep. Can not wake up system without hard reboot. Any suggestions?

    For us to narrow down your concern with waking up your computer from sleep mode, we would like to know the following:

    • Aside from Windows Update. were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue?
    • Is this the first time you experienced the issue?
    • To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • Send us a screenshot of your screen when you wake up your computer from sleep mode.

    BSOD due to netadaptercx.sys after waking the PC from Sleep

    Hi Prakhar,

    The steps you suggested did not solve the problem. I am still experiencing the BSOD when waking the computer from sleep. If you have an other suggestions they'd be greatly appreciated.
