Windows 10: Freezes and black screen when playing games that needs hard reset to fix

Hey there as the title says my pc keeps freezing while playing games. The picture freezes and i have to hard turn off my pc. Spmetimes the application becomes seetrough and i see my desktop.What ive tried doing so far:-bought a new gpu-Bought new power supply-ddu in safe mode-undervolted the gpu- disable multiplane overlay-cleaned and reseated all cables - chekced temps to see if everything is ok wich it sure looked like- installed previous versions of adrenalin and even removed it at one pointThe build:Windows 10CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 4,3GHzRam: GeIL ValueRAM 16GB DDR4-2133Storage: HDD 1000

Unable to play video games on Windows 10, black screen after log-in screen

• From where are you trying to play the video games (downloaded/ from website)?
• If you are playing games from website which browser are you using?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error message when the game crashes?
• Are you able log-in to your computer?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated display drivers.

As you see black screen while logging to the desktop, I suggest you to refer to the below Microsoft article about this issue, try the troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Black Screens when playing games

Hello, my pc has black screens when playing games. I already tried to fix that by sfc, dism, disk repair... all of that didn't help. I have quad core q8200 and it work great but in the past i had gt 430(not good for playing games of 2007-2015) so i bought
gtx 9800 and it's perfrect for games of 2007-2015, my fps i high with no lags. when i replaced the gt 430 with gtx 9800 my black screens disappeared but now past something like 3 month and the black screens came back!! Before i replaced the gt 430 with gtx
9800, i tried to play with my original gpu(gt 210 also bad for games), the black screens disappeared but instead of that i had freezes that coming after 2 hours of playing. the black screen at the start when you put the gpu disappear but they come after 3
month and rarely(after 2 hours of playing) but after a week the come less rarely(20-30 minutes) and after one more week, they come when you start the game. They only disappear if you put out the gpu and put it in again(I think so.), but i can't do every 3
month, it's will become very annoying. And replacing the psu won't work. it's happened with all games with no exclude. Please help me!!!

 

Playing Game (HoN) Screens go Black, needs hard reset. Only gaming

Hi People,

I built my own PC and its been running great for 2 years.

Using an SSD for OS and boot, and 1TB black drive for games and programs.

I recently installed "Heroes of Newerth" for some giggles. I dont believe it is a highly intensive game on the GPU but i get some crazy crashes on my pc.

Pretty much Ill be running HoN and Skype and both screens just go black, no sound or beeps, no error, nothing.

My keyboard nad mouse lights are still on.

My keyboard has multiple user levels, (4) each have different colour lights, but none of the user levels work, which makes me think the driver is not running on that, so maybe the pc has 'mostly' crashed.??

Ive done a SMART test and all good
Done a memory test (windows) and 100%, no errors found.

Aside from this i dont know what the next step is.

Usually i solve these on my own, but since there is no error I can't even google tog et something more sepcific!

ideas anyone?
