Freezing and Crashing with Hardware Acccelerated Graphics Scheduling HAGS and OBS v30.1.2

Hello,I've been having issues with OBS freezing and crashing using OBS 30.1.2 and HAGS in combination.I'm experiencing random full freezing of the OBS software requiring a force close and reboot of it - this seems to also come about or is exacerbated by alt-tabbing out of fullscreen games, which I must to occasionally to manage the stream.I'm recording and streaming simultaneously at 1080P while gaming at 1440P. I would love to take full advantage of DLSS3 and other 40 series benefits, but I can't without HAGS enabled. The comments within the OBS forums still recommend turning HAGS off and dir

  2. OBS stream crash when Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling is enabled

Stream abruptly stops (bitrate is 0 kb/s) and OBS crashes (Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling is enabled)
i created ticket with OBS but according to them its a GPU vendor/ Microsoft issue Stream abruptly stops (bitrate is 0 kb/s) and OBS crashes (Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling is enabled) · Issue #8746 · obsproject/obs-studio
since I'm using a 40xx gpu , and Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) is required for DLSS3 frame generation.

    N95-1 V30 Bugs & Issues

Let's discuss the bugs and issues with the new V30 firmware.

What I don't like about V30 are that

1- when the N95 starts, the standby screen goes blank for less than a second for once.

2- There are now too many applications installed on the phone (if you check the Application Manager you will see the list) occupying the memory.

3- Also after updating from V21, V30 crashed when using bluetooth. Seemed like it had problems with bluetooth. The crash was bad that you could only restart the phone by taking out the battery. After 3 re-installs now the bluetooth works fine.

Cannot Disable Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows 11

I have Windows 11 Pro and I have tried disabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) from both the Default Graphics Settings menu and in the registry under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers HwSchMode. Either way, when I restart my computer and go back into the settings it is enabled again.

Is anyone aware of why this would happen? Are the NVIDIA drivers forcing HAGS on?

I have an Nvidia RTX 3060 TI and an AMD Ryzen 5 7600x. My motherboard is an MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK. All of the drivers and firmware are updated.

I would like to disable HAGS to improve VR performance.
