Windows 10: Freezing problem

After updating my RTX 4060 laptop version to the latest version 546.01, I encountered some issues when doing GPU-intensive activities, The laptop freezes intermittently every 2 seconds, causing a momentary halt in cursor movement or even when typing. To mitigate this, I attempted to revert the GPU driver to an earlier version, temporarily resolving the freezing problem. However, this action triggered Blue Screen of Death BSOD errors, prompting me to update the GPU driver. but unfortunately, this reinstatement has led to the reappearance of the freezing issues. Andre, thanks for your suggestions. I performed all steps as you listed and it appears that there were

some problems that have been corrected. I will let you know in a day or so if the "freeze" problem

occurs again. Many thanks for your help --- this took longer than I expected!

Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.
