Windows 10: Frequent beeping and stuttering

Good day to the community! I have a two year old PC that is out of warranty and started having issues freezing intermittently - everything is stuck for a second or two which is accompanied by an "error beep". This doesn't seem to be load-related - it will get stuck even when moving the mouse cursor around and typing in a browser or Slack. It's still possible to type, but the letters only appear after a few seconds. It also happens in some, but not all games. The issue seems to affect application windows visually, there is GUI flickering at times.The stutters seem to be getting worse the long

Fresh install of 1909, experiencing lag, stutters, and beeping sounds

I just installed the November 2019 update, aka 1909. Everything was going smoothly, until this morning, when I logged in and played a game. I noticed the game briefly stuttered during a scene which normally plays smoothly. When I exited the game, I noticed the system overall was a bit sluggish, and some actions, such as clicking the Start Menu button, experienced a bit of lag before executing. A few times the system stuttered again, and I heard a couple beeps from the speakers. I have everything up-to-date and no viruses or the like, so my only thought is that maybe the update itself is to blame? Any suggestions? How would I go about getting diagnostics/logs to find out? I attached my DxDiag file, and from what I can see there's issues with Windows Defender, OneDrive, and Final Fantasy XIV.

I think I might have figured out the cause of the issue. Seems my tablet being plugged in was causing the stuttering/beeping. Hasn't happened since I unplugged it, but then again, I haven't played any games since I did that. Need to test some more and see.

When i turn it on the fans do spin, I tried DanTheBanjoman's suggestion and no beeps I took ram out and no beeps, I took battery and ram out and still no beeps I even tried a video card and still no beeps.

In line with this, can you follow these steps on how to turn off the system beep sounds in Windows 10 and observe if the issue persists? Here are the steps:

• Right-click the Start icon, then select Control Panel.
  
• Choose the Large icons option from the View by drop down list found on the upper-right part of the Control Panel window.
  
• Locate and choose Sound.
  
• Go to the Sounds tab when the Sound wizard pops out.
  
• Locate and click Default Beep.
  
• Choose None from the Sounds drop-down list.
  
• Click Apply, then OK.
