Since installing the ver. 2004 update, I've been having a lot of BSoD errors, usually with the stop code MEMORY MANAGEMENT, can someone read the info from the minidump files and see what's going on?

    :)

Blue Screen after upgraded to V.2004

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you for your reply.

    • I could not find the *dump files, I don't think I enable it,
    • I will work on the MSinfo file and the Specc files when I have more time in hand.
    Questions:-

    • you're suggesting that I should install the V.2004 and let it crash (if it'll crash)?
    • since there is no .dump file exist (or I couldn't find one), the troubleshooting still good just using the MSinfo and the Specc files that reflects my current system state (V.1909)?
    Thanks again!

Blue Screen after upgraded to V.2004

    Hi,

I Have a two years old HP laptop (w/Intel display adapter) upgraded to Version 2004 last week, it ran fine (for most part) for few days and all of sudden I got a Blue Screen of Dead while I was on internet....

Is anyone knows or having same problem? I already rolled back to previous Version 1909.

Here is some more info regarding the event:-

    • the upgrade notification was "auto push" not forced (check updates now),
    • after upgrade, some of my setting was not kept, ie: the task bar was changed to white back ground, the volume was changed to really high (from 10 to 36), reverted back to default "light mode" and some other minor customization,
    • in Setting, the "View Update History" only display Feature Update info., no longer display other history ie: Quality Updates, Driver Updates, Definition Updates...etc,
    • there was one more .NET framework update installed soon after the V.2004 installed,
    • it was stable for a few days,
    • no notification to update from hardware (HP),
    • was using Google chrome browser when the BSoD happens,
    • it rebooted itself after the blue screen,
    • from viewing the event log at that time...there was error in AESM-SGX services when the time it crushes, (that event no longer exist since I reverted back to previous version).
Appreciate any help or indication that when will be safe to update again (update notification appear again), HP support has no info regarding this update nor indicating that all models has been fully tested with Version 2004.

    Thank you in advance !

    -Al
