Windows 10: Frequent BSOD After Trying to Print

Everything was working fine until I tried to print Canon TS series, which I've used before on the same device. No new drivers either. It'll print most of one page before blue screening. I tried again to see if it would happen again and it did. I tried updating the drivers and uninstalling the printer but it still happened. I stopped trying to print but now it'll run for a bit before blue screening, making it hard to do anything.


I did try to sfc /scannow which had no issues. Couldn't do much else with the constant interruptions. Used malwarebytes to scan for issues although it couldn't finish the last part of the scan thanks to BSOD, everything else including rootkits are fine. I gathered the dump files on safe mode, zipped them and uploaded onto the drive.

I'm not sure what to do now with it blue screening too often to act. I did back up my files in case the worst happens.


Prior to this, I was able to browse the internet and even play heavy games without issue. This only started as I was printing today.

System frequently restart with BSOD

System getting restarted frequently please suggest, i have attached the BSOD report.

I would guess that your GPU is faulty, the crashes that are most frequent seem related to the GPU.

I do have a suggestion, although this suggestion is more often seen with 0x9F crashes where drivers are in an inconsistent state for the OS.
Try to change the powerplan, standard there are following plans

1. Powersaver,
2. Balanced, standard selected,
3. High performance

If you didn't change your power plan, you have balanced selected.
Select High performance and see if it makes a difference.

 

Word and Excel 2013 now crash when I try to print or edit-Outlook OK

Trying to print or edit in Office 2013 Word and Excel now causes the program to crash. Outlook works fine.

the following have not fixed the problem.

1. Repair install of Office 2013
2. Uninstall (with Revo Pro) and then full re-install
3. Uninstall and then reinstall of the HP Laserjet printer drive.

What is my next step, short of nuking the entire Win installation and starting over (ugh!)???
