Frequent BSoD and black screen due to most likely a GPU issue

Just a month ago I bought this laptop and since the day I bought it, it gives BSoD, most frequently video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error. As it is a gaming laptop, it comes with a discrete GPU only mode and when I turn this on, the screen goes black after a few minutes of usage. But if I just disable the GPU from device manager, it works just fine, so it's surely a problem with my discrete GPU. I contacted manufacturer, then they reinstalled windows, uninstalled and reinstalled graphics drives and also updated BIOS. It worked fine after that for about 3-4 days, but the same problem keeps repeating. As of

  2. Issue with black screen, dual display, ATI Integrated GPU

    Hi,

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to go to device manager and disable the display drivers, check whether the issue persists or not.

    • Press Windows + X keys and click
      Device manager.
    • Click to expand Display adapters, right click the second adapter and click
      Disable.
    • Restart the computer and check whether the issue persists or not.
    • Repeat the same steps to disable the first display adapter and check if it helps.

If you find the issue is with anyone of the display adapters then, I suggest you to update the display drivers from the manufactures website for Windows 10 and check if it helps.
