Windows 10: Frequent BSOD Error & restart

Hello Guys,I have Acer Aspire 7 which has 5500u Ryzen processor, 4 GB Nvidia GPU, 512 GB SSD & 8 GB Ram.The problem I face :1 Frequent BSOD error & restart 4 to 5 times a day. Sometime even when laptop is sitting idle2 Screen freeze/hang with no option then me doing hard shutRecently , My motherboard got corrupted which was replaced as was under warranty. However, after that the PC restarting problem has just gotten much more frequent. please note: BSOD error has started after motherboard replacement however, the screen freeze/hang used to happen even before that.The Acer Enginee

+1 to listing your full system specs, OS version, etc. I did only look at your BSOD log file.

Run a Diskchk /R (I know you already ran one, so you can skip this)

Run SFC /SCANNOW

Report back.

 

BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:

• Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
• Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
• After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.
