  1. Frequent BSOD - Windows 10 - Asus Laptop Model Q325U

Recently, my Asus laptop Model: Q325U has been consistently getting the BSOD of death for no apparent reason. Originally, it may have resulted when PC was overheated, but now it occurs frequently on startup, where everything will just freeze and then BSOD will appear.

Since it started happening a few days after a Windows feature update Version 2004, I tried to roll back to a previous version of Windows, but that did not fix the problem. Additionally, I tried to reset my PC yesterday using the option to keep my files, but that did not work either. One thing that has been consistent is that the Windows Update screen tells me that "A current driver on your PC may be better than the driver we're trying to install. We'll keep trying to install." I believe I have seen this message as long as I have been having issues as well.

In the past few days, the problem has gotten much worse, with BSOD crashes occurring way more frequently than before, especially when running any applications or opening files. However, I have never been able to collect a dump file because it never changes from 0% other than one time a few weeks ago when the problem was occurring but still infrequently.

I am not sure how to upload the dump file as there is no option given to upload a file on this site.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
