    Frequent BSODs, different PCs

    Hello,

    I'm having problems with Windows 10 and my two PCs desktop and laptop. Both of them are having frequent BSODs starting early last month, but they are a little different. PC restarts after BSOD, while laptop doesn't. I have tried everything, from new OSes, to running various fixes to my OS, troubleshoots etc. I have installed all latest drivers, all latest Windows 10 updates including fix for printers, disconnected all additional USB devices and still getting the same thing.

    Sometimes PC works for ~2h and sometimes I'm getting BSODs every 5 minutes. It's not hardware related as I have ran 1h of FURMARK, memory test and Prime95 without any problems. Temperatures don't exceed 60° C. I just don't know what else could it be except it is software related.

    Here is my memory.dmp if anyone can take a look - https://1drv.ms/u/s!AguDAKHxGMZVhtcBF6fGgsdLg735Lg?e=O7S74z

    :)

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile Frequent BSODs, different PCs :)

    Okay, in that case I suggest you to Restore the PC to an earlier time when it was working perfectly.

    Steps:

    In the search box on the taskbar, type control panel, and then choose it from the list of results.

    In the Control Panel search box, type recovery.

    Select Recovery > Open System Restore.

    In the Restore system files and setting box, select Next.

    Select the restore point that you want to use in the list of results, and then select Scan for affected programs.

    You'll see a list of items that will be deleted if you remove this restore point. If you're OK with the deletions, select Close> Next > Finish.

    Note: Select a date when the PC was working properly.

    Frequent BSOD issue Asus K53sm NVIDIA 630m Windows 10

    I would guess that your GPU is faulty, the crashes that are most frequent seem related to the GPU.

    I do have a suggestion, although this suggestion is more often seen with 0x9F crashes where drivers are in an inconsistent state for the OS.
    Try to change the powerplan, standard there are following plans
    1. Powersaver,
    2. Balanced, standard selected,
    3. High performance
    If you didn't change your power plan, you have balanced selected.
    Select High performance and see if it makes a difference.
