  1. Frequent chime on Windows 10

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I can't find anything else on the web or Reddit.

I am getting some sort of chime on my Windows Acer Nitro 5 Laptop. It almost sounds like an XBox chime and I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is. It happens every 10 minutes or so. I'm not technology illiterate and as far as I can tell I'm not hosting any malware or anything. When I have all programs closed my CPU and graphics card are not pulling much power. Additionally, I have gone through almost everything running in task manager and I found nothing suspicious (Apart from there being a ton of service host background programs. Is this normal?). There are no notifications when it happens, I'm stumped. I don't have an anti-virus but because of that I only visit websites like steam and youtube. I avoid anything that I am not familiar with additionally while just chilling task manager says that CPU and GPU usage is minimal (Under 5% for CPU and 0% for GPU). I got onto youtube and it doesn't seem to be a sound from windows itself but I was on youtube the first time I heard it and I hadn't visited any other site that day except for the steam website.

Though I'm not amazing at stuff like this has actually stumped me.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Clock chimes

Thanks, but I don't want to set the clock so it chimes on the hour. I want to set it so it DOESN'T chime on the hour.
