  1. Frequent drops or intermittent wireless connections for 5 years in Windows 10 and 11

Hi. I have a WIFI speed drop issue. Please Watch these two videos to understand better:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1q_3M_fF1DelcoegtJbfLefuyhmEYBjlkas you see speed drop 30kb/s, I have to select WIFI icon to search all around and it will fix.it happens randomly and affect both web browsing and download.I'm on a laptop, an HP Pavilion dv6 6080.I have tested Windows 10 and 11 on any build or version.I also tested these WIFI’s and dongles and all drivers released for them:Broadcom 4313 802.11n Network Adapter internalComfast CF-WU757 V2 with Realtek RTL8188GUTP-link Archer T4U

Intermittent wireless connection drop using HP Pavilion running Windows 10

I have a similar issue with my HP Pavilion running Windows 10. It frequently (every few minutes) drops the wireless internet connection although I am within 4 feet of the router, the signal shows as strong and NONE of the Apple devices in our house have
this issue. I have updated the Network Adaptor as recommended with no improvement. Any suggestions?

  3. Wireless network drops intermittently, needs reset to reconnect

I noticed a strange (puzzling!) but extremely interesting phenomenon during a video conference call this morning.

    1. The network dropped as usual, at some time during the video call.
    2. But the video call using Zoom.us, *did not drop!*. That's right - the 1 hour of network down time did not affect the Zoom.us video call at at.
    3. But other services, specifically, web browser-based services reported no network. I all my browsers - Chrome, Edge, FF - I could not connect to any websites. Also, I have "pseudo-web apps" running, such as WhatsApp's desktop app (which seems to be a shell around a browser), all of which seemed unable to connect. Google Hangouts could not connect either.
    4. Weirdly, another collaboration desktop app that I used - Slack - was able to *partially connect!*. That is, I was able to send and receive messages on Slack while the network was out for the hour, but Slack *still* reported no network connection (weird!).

It leads me to believe (and I could be wrong), that *some* parts of the network seem to go down and not come back up until they wireless connection is reset. Maybe some ports, like 80/8080/465/587/110/... are being shut down?

    Any ideas?
