    Frequent systems lock-ups or BSODs with different stop codes and unknown cause

    Hello,My HP laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 4800H cpu has intermittent crashing / blue screen problems. There is a certain pattern to this: there will be a week or two of multiple crashes or blue screens per day sometimes over 10 per day, then the issue will go away for months or more, only to come back with the same frequency of multiple crashes per day.I have no idea what's causing this. The BSOD stop code is almost always different which makes it really hard to pinpoint this to a specific driver or hardware failure. 80% of the times I will not get a BSOD and the system simply locks up, which does

  2. Increasingly frequent BSODs, stop codes change each time

    Thank you all for your replies! I'm slowly working through each step but I have a few questions:

    @Samuria
    Is there a particular malware scan you would recommend? Is Malwarebytes okay?

    @zbook
    When I looked up how to move the pagefile it led me to this (this was before I started tinkering with it):

    Frequent systems lock-ups or BSODs with different stop codes and unknown cause 389177d1681642411t-increasingly-frequent-bsods-stop-codes-change-each-time-pagefile-before.png

    Am I understanding correctly that this means the pagefile was already on C:?
    I was also able to locate the actual file on C: but could not find the same on D:

    Frequent systems lock-ups or BSODs with different stop codes and unknown cause 178d1681645152t-increasingly-frequent-bsods-stop-codes-change-each-time-pagefile-c-drive-before-.png

    Anyhow I have changed it so it looks like this now (I wasn't sure how big to make it):

    Frequent systems lock-ups or BSODs with different stop codes and unknown cause 389179d1681645310t-increasingly-frequent-bsods-stop-codes-change-each-time-pagefile-after.png

    Is this correct? Should I change the sizes?

    And for step 5), just to clarify is this asking me to reinstall Windows completely? Sorry I'm not sure what exactly "install to desktop" means, I'm reluctant to wipe Windows completely at this point but I can if you think it's required.

    Here are the links for step 3):
    Tuneup.log - Google Drive
    RAM_info.txt - Google Drive

    @ubuysa
    My apologies, I was under the impression that Windows automatically searches and updates these drivers for me. I'll go ahead and update all the ones you've linked now! I already updated the nvidia drivers when I reinstalled with DDU last night, but a BSOD did happen when I initially tried to reinstall after uninstalling, would it be worth doing this again? This is the currently installed version:

    Also when you say "The tcpip.sys and NETIO.sys drivers are Windows drivers (so not at fault)" and "The kbdclass.sys is a Windows keyboard class driver, so it's not at fault", what do you mean by it's not at fault?

    I will try to run Memtest86 tonight.
    Also should I keep uploading new minidump files as they happen?

    Thank you everyone!!

    Update: I just checked the pagefile settings again after restarting my PC and it seems to have reverted back to its previous size (10gb) and state (system managed)... Is this normal?

    Update 2: I just tried to create a system restore point for step 4) and it gave me this:

    Frequent systems lock-ups or BSODs with different stop codes and unknown cause 186d1681650625t-increasingly-frequent-bsods-stop-codes-change-each-time-system-restore-vss-error.png

    I don't know what this means... but I have seen this VSS thing before in Event Viewer as I mentioned in my first post

  3. Random lock-up's. Possible cause?

    Hi, haven't been on here in quite some time...but that's a different story.

    My computer seem to randomly lock-up at times for no apparent reason. I had iTunes open and attempted to open the Catalyst control center...then it will lose the mouse for about 5 seconds while the music continues to play, then the music stops too. Possible RAM would you say? No BSOD's as of yet...so not sure. Any ideas/suggestions on testing?

    Frequent BSODs with different stop codes

    I've been having trouble with BSOD over a couple of months and today I decided to try a clean install of my pc. it was fine at first but like an hour after I had downloaded some apps - Avast Antivirus, Malwarebytes, Blue Screen Viewer, Mega.nz, Nvidia GeForce Experience, Nvidia Control Panel and my pc started crashing every 5 minutes, I uninstalled all the apps I had but it still crashes, also the most frequent stop code is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I am currently in safe mode and it hasn't crashed. I don't know if its a hardware or software issue and don't wanna try cleaning my pc again cause it took a few hours, but I've ran the MemoryTest86 and my pc passed.

    here are all the crashes since i cleaned my pc and also the system information:
