Frequent Timeouts When using Ping Command

    Hello guys,

For the last week or so I have been having issues with my internet connection. The issue is as follows, periodicallyevery 10-12s my fps games would lag out for 0.5-1s. This may not seem like a big issue, but I do play competitively and this kind of connection issue makes it nearly impossible. I tried looking up answers on the internet without much success. From another similar topic, I borrowed a connection test using the "ping 8.8.8.8 /t" command that would at least point me to the issue being either from my PC or from the connection itself. The following screenshot is the result of that test:

I play competitive FPS games almost exclusively and have spent a decent amount of time and money on making sure I have top software and hardware. I really hope you guys can help with this because it completely negates all other effort I have put into my setup.

PS: I know that the sample test is short but I did make sure I replicated it with a longer one and the results just repeat continuously. I also tried the "reset network" option that was suggested to another user with the same issue, but It did not mitigate the issue.

    :)

  2. Ping command error

Below is a screen shot of the ipconfig and ping command on my laptop. I ping IP address 192.168.1.10 which is an address that does not exist on my network. Notice the replies for some reason is changed to the laptop address of 192.168.1.78 that the ping
is sent from. It accurately states that the destination host is unreachable but the statistics says 4 packets were sent, 4 received, and a loss of 0%. This obviously is not correct. Is this a flaw within the ping command? Does anyone have any idea or suggestion
on what is causing this to report as it does?

Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile Frequent Timeouts When using Ping Command :)

Ping Timeout only on one PC

I have several PCs, and many wireless devices in my home.
I have recently started having horrible timeout issues on the main PC.
I will run a continuous ping on on them all, and only the main one stops for about 30 seconds and then recovers only to do it again a in about 60 seconds.

I thought it was the NIC, so I disabled the onboard and got a USB NIC I had laying around and hooked it up and ran it again. Same timeout issue. No change.
Tried a new port in the switch. Same thing. Swapped ports from a working one and the non working one, problem followed the main PC.

Also I should mention, the Main PC (Or server) is running the Unifi software for my wifi. I didn't think that would make a difference, but the WiFi is having an even worse time of it. Unless it's relevant, lets forgo the wifi in case it is being caused by the server.

    Windows 10 1903 build 18362.1082

    Thanks!

    *Edit 1*
I forgot to mention, when it times out, I do NOT lose local connectivity within my network. Only internet access.
