Hi, the battery shouldnt be loose the as for the outlets everything is ok. It is possible that the phone cant start the boot layer of the OS. I will suggest first a formating (you will loose data) and reinstalling the OS. If this does not help there is
possibly either a CPU damage or a memory "leak". Both indicating hardware damage.

The hard drive is going to get a little exercise, but not much more than running the OS would give it anyway. If it's an SSD rather than an HDD then there's only a limited number of times you can write data, but the lifetime is measured in Terabytes or Petabytes - a few reinstalls are just a drop in the ocean. No, the main risk of damage is to your sanity, especially if you're reinstalling under duress because the system keep falling over *Smile

As a matter of interest @Peyote why do you feel you might need to do a regular reinstall? I have a machine I regularly reinstall or restore a system image to, but that's for test and/or support purposes. What's your reason?

  6. Hey @Bree thanks for the explanation. I work with 2-3 OS in one machine. Well sometimes i'd something wrong and got an error that cant be fixed without reinstalling it, since i got multiple OS in one machine its often for me to accidently overwrite the other OS (Windows) when reinstalling the OS (linux). Sorry for my english, i cant explain this more specific. And thanks again, cheers.

@Peyote, I understand you fine. My test/support PC has 3 OS too. I reimage it each time I want to switch OS to get a clean system to work on, it's quicker than reinstalling each time.

Frequently reinstalling OS damage your machine?

It won't cause any damage. I guess my question would be why you are reinstalling the OS so often. It might be better to use a virtual machine if you are doing a lot of testing.
