  1. Fresh, clean install- frequent BSOD

Hi guys, hate to introduce myself this way but need some help. PC is Lenovo Erazer X510, has fresh, clean installed Win 10 Pro. Getting BSODs. Tried reading the dump with WhoCrashed, not getting any real info:

    crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\010416-12046-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: wdf01000.sys (Wdf01000!FxRequest::CompleteInternal+0x25B)
    Bugcheck code: 0x1E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF802CEC80B30, 0x0, 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF)
    Error: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\wdf01000.sys
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
description: Kernel Mode Driver Framework Runtime
Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

One thing to note, not sure if related but date has problems. Its January 4, not January 5.. Also note certificate errors in Firefox that are likely related to time/date issues. Have checked everywhere that I know to check, time and date appear correct. Something is wrong in that regard.

Ran sfc /scannow Found issues it couldn't repair. Appears to be related to opencl.dll. DISM could not fix due to source error. Have no ISO with my version as I had the major update 1511. Believe opencl.dll is a Nvidia file? Running latest driver version 361.43.

    Any help would be great!

    Tom

    :)

    Windows 10 Reset Completely Failed

same here, 5%-13% is all I ever reach. I can't even create the Win 10 ISO media. That goes on for a while and then aborts. I'm living with the frequent BSODs. I don't want to do a fresh install on my system since I migrated the OS to an SSD and I feel
my Windows won't reactivate (since the HDD that it was originally installed upon changed). Anyhooo... moving on.

  3. Windows 10 crashing (BSOD) when idle

Update for those with similar problems reading this thread:

The BSODs are back, although less frequently then before.

Apparently, Windows 10 does not play well with my PC. When I have time I will do a clean install of Windows 8.1, which always worked smoothly.

  11. Honestly not sure what fixed this, only that it was a RealTek driver. Swapped out network and sound drivers multiple times, finally hit the right combination; or just held my mouth right. In any case the help I got here was invaluable.

My compliments to the folks who freely give large amounts of their own time to help us with this new OS. I know very well that you're not paid a dime but yet here you are, day after day, helping. Know that you are appreciated!
