    Fresh install. Can't connect to internet; drivers won't install.


    Good evening everyone. I just built a new PC for my wife and installed windows 10 home edition. Normally when I build a computer it automatically recognizes the internet cable and I can then proceed to download the latest drivers. This time it wouldn't. So I downloaded the drivers on my computer and copied them over via USB drive.

    When I double click the Install executable, a window pops up for <1 second and nothing happens. I try running as administrator and same thing. I troubleshooted and tried searching for the drivers on the windows USB, however I am not sure if I did it right. I even used the damn CD that came with the motherboard, using an external CD drive. Still nothing.

    I am at a complete loss.

    Specs: Mobo: Asus ROG STRIX Z490-G Cpu: Intel Core i7-10700K 3.8 GHz Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32 GB Gpu: Asus GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER 4 GB TUF Ssd: Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2 Psu: SeaSonic PRIME TX 850 W

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Maybe I Install a Windows 7 again, At least, all of my games run smoothly ...Sadness!!
