Windows 10: Fresh install of 2004

Hi All,
Here is a explaination of what happend for me to post.
I have been following the "How to get the Windows 10 May 2020 Update version 2004 since it was created.
On this i7 7700k system, I like others downloaded the update using the media tool and upgraded without any errors when it first was available. Also my older desktop and laptop did receive the update through WU and working great ever since with no problems. (knock on wood).
A couple days ago I installed "OIbit Advanced System Care" which was a free giveaway to test it and see if some of the features would be good for me. Big mistake I guess *Sad
It slowed down my internet to 1/3 of the speed and caused glitches. I tried turning off many features and rebooting each time and still no difference. I then decided to restore to the Restore Point I made before installing the application. Twice it rebooted and could not complete the restore point so nothing changed. Only thing was some of my programs and games would not execute. Double-click the icons and nothing *Sad After reinstalling a few of them they worked.
As a practice I do a fresh install every year or so just to clean things up. I am about 18 months now before doing that.
I still have the USB ver. 10.0.19041 B 264 that I created to upgrade this system. My question is "would there be a problem doing a clean install with is copy? Some are saying in the above link I am following not to install the 2004 version.
I don't want to start the process and find that at the end it will display a message that this version cannot be installed lol.

Fresh USB Windows 10 Install - Failing

I am trying to install a fresh copy (reformatted the hard disk) of windows 10 using a USB

• Created an installation media on a USB flash drive (Win 10 pro) from this page Download Windows 10
• Changed the boot order on the other PC so that it boots using USB
• Selected custom install
• Installing Windows goes through the following steps successfully: Copying Windows Files, Getting Files ready for installation, Installing features, Installing updates and before the last step (Finishing up), it restarts
• Then it goes back to the start of the installation steps

I am stuck and have read numerous posts but don't know what to do to install a fresh copy of Win 10.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows 10 infinite restart black screen


The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
