Windows 10: Fresh install trying to install drivers files are all corrupt when extracting.

this is a tough one I'm pretty computer savvy and i just don't get it so here's what I've tried and I'm kind of all out of ideas.specs intel i9 14000k Aorus z790 ax elite64gb corsair memory samsung 1tb evo m2.nvmeso i started off getting random blue screens crashes when closing games or starting them up so i decided to try starting fresh so i unplugged all my SSD drives and reinstalled windows 11 on to my m2.nvme drive install went smooth loaded up did windows updates then started installing my gigabyte utility program to install motherboard drivers and it starts to install then says file co

Relevance of driver installation package files?

As the years went by and you no longer had to manually update video card drivers via adding an .inf file in Windows, driver packages have a self extraction > installation method.

With Nvidia, you extract the files somewhere and then run the setup. I've always gone back after installation, and removed those extracted files.

It hasn't ever seemed to be a problem, yet it got me curious. Are those supposed to stay on your harddisk or are they strictly for the installation only?

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

 

HP Drivers won't install

Well the drivers that do actually successfully install extract to this folder. The others don't even extract. I am thinking it's an extraction issue so I will try the 7-zip software like another user suggested. Will keep you guys updated.
