Windows 10: Fresh install Windows 10 Pro on HP laptop 840 G1. Lost Screen Adjustment by using Function...

I have recently last two days Installed a Brand new SSD into my HP 840 G1 laptop and also a totally clean fresh installation of Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit.The HP laptop can control screen brightness by using the Function Keys F9 & F10, I have used this way to control brightness for as long as I have owned the laptop which is many years. I now cannot control screen brightness using these Function Keys and after speaking with HP and ensuring I have all the latest Drivers, Firmware etc and with Microsoft Support still cannot. All the other Function Keys work correctly; has this ability to use

The HP laptop can control screen brightness by using the Function Keys F9 & F10, I have used this way to control brightness for as long as I have owned the laptop which is many years.
I now cannot control screen brightness using these Function Keys and after speaking with HP and ensuring I have all the latest Drivers, Firmware etc and with Microsoft Support still cannot. All the other Function Keys work correctly; has this ability to use the F9 & F10 keys to adjust screen brightness been disabled in Windows 10? I have done some research and it informs me to control screen brightness using the slider within the Action Centre.

Adjust Screen Brightness and Resolution in Windows 10

The screen brightness adjustment keys of my HP Pavilion laptop are not recognized by Windows 10. It is so bright that it is harming our eyes. Also, I followed the suggested alternate steps from many websites and none of them worked as the brightness adjustment
option is not at all available even not inside Control Panel.

Please note that before installing Windows 10, I got notification that my laptop is compatible for the upgrade. Can you please help?
