Windows 10: Fresh Install, Windows Updates ONLY: 11900K & Asus Z590 TUF GAMING PLUS WIFI. I am getting...

I recently upgraded to an 11900K & Asus Z590 TUF GAMING PLUS WIFI. I am getting "BSOD_DRIVER_POWER_ STATE_FAILURE". At first I thought it was because I did not reinstall when transferring from my old configuration 7820X & X299 TUF but then after reinstalling the most recent Windows 10 it I would still get this same BSOD with ZERO programs installed. Just running Windows Updates. I have since disconnected everything from the motherboard EXCEPT cpu/cooler/fan, power, memory and nvme. I know the memory is good because I spent days in memcheck when I got it, I even disabled XMP

11900k + Asus z590-A Crashing

I am having the exact same problem with nearly the same configuration. I have reinstalled windows and reset BIOS to defaults several times. I don’t have any software installed, and I am using the latest drivers downloaded from the ASUS website. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version. Nothing else is installed, and no overclocking. I even got the BSOD a couple of times while installing the chipset drivers that were downloaded off the ASUS webpage. I only devices that are installed on the machine are the graphics card, SSD, mouse, and keyboard. One thing that I noticed is that the memory, which is supposed to be 3600MHz, shows up as 2666MHz when I go into BIOS. Is that normal?

11900k + Asus z590-A Crashing

Hello guys,

I got the same issue here. I would like to share my case.

Spec: 11900K with ASUS LC 360 liquid cooler,

ASUS Z590-E MB. G.skill Tridentz neo 3600Mhz C18 (16Gx2)

PS ASUS ROG Strix 850W

SSD 970EVO m2 gen3 in m2 slot3, transcend 220s in m2 slot4

DP Card: amd 6700XT

1. I checked ram is on (QVL) list.

2. reset bios, reinstall win10, disable XMP, all no luck.

3. Bios up to date.

I though i get defect cpu/mb/ram in first place. after google it, now i dont think so.

I also tried DDU display driver and reinstall. As i think it may caused by amd driver. But there are user with same issue and using Nvidia card. So...still finding the way out of this.....it is so sad.
