Windows 10: Fresh Installation of Windows 10 stuck loop at 64 %

Hi,


I have an HP laptop 17-bs008ca with Windows 10 Home 64 B

Everything was perfect till an update screwed everything. I couldn't reach my desktop after that. I was able to fix the problem finding "my desktop" but still there were many issues. I decided to save all my stuff files out the laptop and do a fresh installation of windows 10, formatted clean and started the installation. When I got to 64 % started in an " infinite " loop. Every time I get to the " magical " 64 % restart and that's it.

I know this is a widespread problem by reading this forum but somehow I haven't found a working solution to my case. I also realize that most of the time people are not consistent in keeping track of what is happening.

I promise to get to the bottom of this for anyone who wanted to help me, so please ... help me.

Installing windows stuck at 64% and infinite loop

There's a possibility that the recovery partition is having an issue that's why System Reset was stuck @ 64%. To resolve this, please check the following thread:
