Windows 10: Fresh OS install – Live tiles appear as arrows – Help

I have just done a fresh install of Windows 10 (64-bit) withlatest image from Microsoft directly and updated completely, but many LiveTiles in start menu are appearing as just a “download arrow”.
I have tried everything from resizing it, activating/deactivatinglive tiles and even click them. No matter which tiles I click it only opens “windows getstarted”. I am also signed-in on my MSaccount and gone to store and all apps are updated.
What can be the issue ??

You cannot change your primary Live ID on your Windows Phone without performing a wipe on your device, which removes all data and apps and returns your operating system to a fresh state. Did you wipe your phone?

If not, you might have deleted your Live Tile from your Start screen and can simply add it again.

• From your Start screen, press the arrow at the top os the screen in the right hand top corner. This will take you to your app list.
• Find the icon for Hotmail, then tap & hold on it. A little context-sensitive menu should appear and you can select "pin to start."

You should be as good as new!

Renaming Tiles in Windows 10

While TA_2222's suggestion is helpful, there seems to be no way to control the appearance of the Live Tile. When I try it for Outlook Mail (from Outlook.com), I get a teeny-tiny icon inside a big, largely blank Live Tile. Microsoft should fix its Edge
problems rather than let them fester on as painful raw sores on the OS of the future???!!!! In Google Chrome, for example, I can click on the BACK arrow and get a descending reverse chronological list of the sites that I've visited. In Edge, I need a couple
of extra clicks to get to History to go backwards to a specific site several web pages ago.

 

Does the apps/programs work? Is it possible they are still downloading? If they are MS apps you can check in the Store app.

 

Everything work, except the ones that are appearing with an arrow, its not possible they are still downloading for sure. In store, everything appears to be updated.

 

I had this and just unpinned them. Perhaps they are withdrawn apps (like the cookery one and the health & fitness one and so on).

Anything that is missing (that you want) you can download later from the store anyway.

 

Well I just re-installed the OS and they were all there...
