    Fresh PC with fresh Windows 11 install, experiencing frequent bluescreens


    So I just built a new PC and I'm getting sporadic bluescreens and crashes.Initially it was fine for a few hours, but eventually it crashed. Restarted fine, and then crashed not long later. And they got more frequent, until it would crash 100% of the time when trying to log in, right after entering my password.It wouldn't boot in Safe Mode. The only way I was able to get back in was by having windows roll back the most recently quality update. But it was still crashing.After that I tried resetting windows - but it crashed whilst doing that.I took the CPU out just to double check, no visible ben

    Fresh windows install help.

    Hi.
    I have Samsung Series 7 NP7005ZA-S0AUS laptop pc. I decided to do a fresh windows install so I used a flash drive to re-install windows (I formatted the hard drive at the begnining of the installation). When the laptop booted first time in the installation process, I got a screen saying boot menu but it's empty. I clicked alt+ctl+de, the laptop restarts and gets me back to the same screen. I entered the bios and made sure the hd is on the top of the list and save/restarted but same issue. I tried loading bios default settings and that did not help either. I noticed in the boot menu that there are exclamation marks next to the HD and the SATA DVD drives, not sure what that means but they were not there before. I honestly think a bios update can do the trick but there is no way to upgrade the bios of a samsung laptop without Windows like my case so I am stuck.
    Any help will be very much appreciated.
    Notice: The hard drive has 8GB msata built in.

    Fresh USB Windows 10 Install - Failing

    I am trying to install a fresh copy (reformatted the hard disk) of windows 10 using a USB

    • Created an installation media on a USB flash drive (Win 10 pro) from this page Download Windows 10
    • Changed the boot order on the other PC so that it boots using USB
    • Selected custom install
    • Installing Windows goes through the following steps successfully: Copying Windows Files, Getting Files ready for installation, Installing features, Installing updates and before the last step (Finishing up), it restarts
    • Then it goes back to the start of the installation steps

    I am stuck and have read numerous posts but don't know what to do to install a fresh copy of Win 10.
