Windows 10: Fresh Win10 without Updates - on startup: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED WppRecorder.sys

Hi Gurus,


I just bought a new desktop PC - Lenovo, after installing a Windows 10 on it

I keep getting this BSOD on startup - stop code: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED WppRecorder.sys

The Windows 10 is freshly installed - and it's still without any updates/software.


* immediately after 1st logon I created a 'restore point'

* can't load in Safe Mode - still BSOD


Issue reproduction:

1. Through MS Media tool, I created a USB installation Win10, 32 bit

2. Freshly installed it on my PC through BIOS/legacy. I had some problems installing 32bit in UEFI

3. During the 1st logon - I get this BSOD after several minutes.....and then, during the boot itself or just after logon username appears


Installed it several times also using Rufus with ISO and googled the solutions on this ...nothing helped ‍‍

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

As per your description of the issue, I would suggest you to check in safe mode if issue persists or not. If not, the I suggest you install your graphic and chipset drivers and check. Please follow the steps below and check:

Open Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X, click on
Control Panel; select System and Maintenance.

• Click on Device Manager.
• In Device Manager, locate Display adapters and double-click to check if it’s working properly.
• Go to Driver tab, then click on Update Driver. And follow the instructions.

If there are other drivers showing with exclamation mark, update them using the same steps from above.

system_thread_exception_not_handled (iacamera64.sys)

OK, so while I was recording on my Windows 10 device with the Camera app it said I was out of space then it came up with a BSOD ( third time this month) The error was system_thread_exception_not_handled (iacamera64.sys). Can anyone help me solve this and
tell me more about this error? Thanks in advance.
