Windows 10: Friends hearing what I am listening to (Skype, TS3 etc)

Hey !

I would like start off by saying that I know that there are a lot threads about this already, but I have googled for hours without any success. I have tried everything I came across but bothing has worked. I even tried turning "Stereo Mix" off , turned off the microphone built-in "play-back" in the Realtek HD-audio configuration and tried configuring Skype's embedded audio settings, but nothing has worked so far. I only use 2 devices (one for the mic, and one for sound) and it is only those that as active, the rest are disabled.
I have enabled both "Reduction of Noise" and "acoustic echo off" in the sound card's control panel .
What more is there to try?

I have the onboard sound card on the "MS - 7360" mobo.

Windows 10 apps dont show up in the volume mixer.

So I've upgraded and everything and got some apps, one was Iheartradio and its crazy loud and I like to listen to music while in skype with friends but it is too loud to hear them so I go to volume mixer and try to turn it down, nothing but skype is there
and I hear from one of my friends that it works for him but another has the same problem.

 

Sound plays through microphone

I just bought a new headset and I discovered that the sound I hear can be heard by people speaking with me on skype or TS3.I had other mics and this didn't happen. I noticed that my headphones on the sound tab appears as speakrs insted of headphones?

Does anyone have a solution?

 

I can add that I am using closed headphones (HyperX Cloud)

 

Try using the mute button on your mic when not talking.

 

It does help, but it's annoying as it is both hard to reach and it's hard to switch the button to the other side when both hands are needed on the mouse and keyboard. This is OK on TS3, as you can bind a button to mute mic or use push to talk, but in skype its impossible, even though you can bind a key to muting your mic, but it doesn't work if you are in a fullscreen game, unfortunately.

There has to be a fix for this as it worked before upgrading to Win7 perfectly... I just don't know what's wrong :S

 

Go to tools-options-advanced. Then choose hot keys and select Toggle mute(Push-to-talk)





If it still doesn't work while playing a full screen game, see if the game allows windows borderless mode.

 

Must have missed that option, I'll use it till later, but I STILL want to fix this without having to go around the problem in any way. Simply not having my mic in some mysterious way pick up my output sound.
