Windows 10: From last three day one of my folder's background get blacked and it keep changing

the background of folder get change while all other folders are the same as in the pic you can see folder of PMC

It's important to note though that this is just a graphical issue and it will not cause any damage or corruption to the content of the folders and files. However, it is unsightly and I can completely understand why you want these folders to appear 'normal'.

Try each of the 3 steps listed. One of these will normally resolve the issue. Just remember to reboot after trying each step as some of the steps require a reboot to fully work and clear the thumbnail cache.

Black background on my folder icons

My Folder Icons keep getting this weird Black Background color every now and then. What is causing this? How can I stop this from happening anymore?-- Original Title.

I keep getting this weird black background on my folder icons. I don't know what is causing this, and I'm tired of changing folder icons every other day. Can anybody help me out?

Hello Mike,

If I understand it right; to change the background color of your toolbar from black to white, follow these steps:

1. Right-click on your desktop and select Personalize.
   
2. In the left-hand menu, select Colors.
   
3. Scroll down until you see Choose your color and select it.
   
4. Choose the color white, or a lighter shade of your preferred color.
   
5. Your toolbar should now have a white background.
