    same for taskmgr and apps that i installed. but everything else seems to work fine. antivirus is thycotic. my IT dept ran all of the sfc/dism command and ran the update devices but nothing resolved issue. IT did a install to version 24 and it worked for like a week then windows installed an update KB5058499 then i rebooted pc and now it fails again. after getting taskmgr.exe open i run regedit and see 2 sessions. one suspended while another shows running but then they both close down. regedit.exe open 1 session and opens up the screen. under the sysinternalssuite i installed a long time bac

    Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile from the windows command line i type regedit and it fails to open however when i type... :)

    Strange, Dcol. I just did the Win+R and it opened my Registry just fine.

    I also can right click on Start and then click Run and type in Regedit and it works too. Long way around, but it works too. from the windows command line i type regedit and it fails to open however when i type... :)
