    Long boot time and passwords missing

    The only reason I mention the account is that a Windows update recently was causing people to be signed into a temporary account, your password manager may be installed for all users but the list of passwords would be user specific, therefore the blank password list suggests a different account. *Smile

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Windows 10 always resets my Time

    My guess is one of them isn't/is counting Daylight Savings Time (CST versus CDT). It's easier to get that wrong in Linux than Windows.


    How many hours off are we talking? Windows defaults to Pacific. (-8 GMT)
