Windows 10: front panel jack doesnt work bc of enabled "disable front panel jack " in realtek audio...

my front panel jack doesnt work because the option ' disable front panel jack ' is enabled in the realtek audio console but i thought it would help me if i deleted it realtek audibut it made it worse and now i cant download the realtek audio console cause my microsoft store doesnt open , wanted to ask that can i disbale it without realtek or with alternative apps ? remember my microsoft store wont open so i cant download apps from it and my headset isnt damaged neither the port , its only that option on realtek audio console and my realtek hd audio manager is missing and i even have the right

Realtek front panel jack doesn't detect anything


If your headset is the "TRRS" (Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve) type like used on an iPhone or PS4, you will need an adapter to work in standard PC jacks which are "TRS" (Tip, Ring, Sleeve) type.

Here is a picture of the TRRS (iPhone/PS4) type and a picture of a TRS type that is used on a PC.

 

Realtek HD Audio Manager - Back Panel greyed out

Hello,

I am trying to disable to jack detection of the back panel.

I'm trying to connect my 3.5mm jacks of my headset there and it doesn't seem to be working.

Same with my front. When I disabled my front jack panel detection, it allowed me to connect my headset.

However the front panel mic isn't working properly, all crackly and no audio in. I know headset is working, so want to try and disable back panel jack detection.

My current realtek HD audio manager settings are:

Playback Device:

Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously.

Recording device:

Separate all input jacks as independent input devices

Also:

Disabled front panel jack detection

Disabled auto popup dialog, when device has been plugged in.

I have tried changing those settings to no avail.

I have also tried:

1. Changing settings of the sound control panel. Back panel detection on = I can't do anything there

2. Reinstalling realtek drivers from my motherboard's website (MSI 970 gaming)

3. Disabled and re-enabled on-board audio drivers.

4. Disabled Realtek digital in sound control panel

Front Panel Audio Jack does not work.

Please can someone help?

After reinstalling Windows 10 and completely restoring my PC the audio jack stopped working.

In the sounds it has a speaker option for

1x Audio Jack -REAR PANEL

3x Audio Jack -HDMI inputs

but nothing for front audio jack. i tested the audio jack in the back it works fine and there is only 2x HDMI ports and only 1 works.

I have tried deleting the audio drives and reinstalling but nothing.

tried to check for an update.

- The 3x NVIDIA Output description says located in HDMI.

- The Speakers says location in rear panel..

trouble shoot only has options for THESE nothing for front panel
