Windows 10: Front PC Headphone panel no longer detecting headphone when plugging in

Using windows 10, my front headphone panel stopped working no more popups when inserting the jack while my microphone panel still works.I inserted the mic/headphone jack into the microphone panel to test if it was the jack itself its not. The headphone panel seems to be more loose when twisting the jack compared to the mic panelIve tried rolling back the realtek audio driver, updating drivers, cleaning inside the headphone panel, disabling the popups, none which have worked so far.Any other suggestions? Its possible that i have been inserting and taking out the headphone jack too many t

Headphones Not Detected

Wasn't sure what topic to put this under.

Windows 10 refuses to detect my headphones from my headset. The mic is fine. The computer even recognizes when I plug the headphones of the headset in. But it refuses to detect them. I can go into my Sound in Control Panel all day, and there will NEVER be any
headphones in that list. So, no, I cannot click headphones, just making that clear before someone suggests clicking on headphones.

How do I force Windows 10 to detect the headphones that I have plugged in, so that they will work? The jack is working fine. When I plug them in it gives me the pop-up letting me know that I plugged something into the jack. But that's the end of it. It will
not detect the headphones. Nothing comes out of them. There are no headphones in the Sound list. There is nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Why does it register something is plugged in and then refuse to detect it?

Someone please figure out why Windows 10 simply cannot detect headphones and help me fix this so I can use my headset.

 

Front panel jack doesn't detect Headphones

In the previous versions of Windows, this feature is auto detected. To better assist you, please answer the questions below:

• Have you tried connecting a different headphones to the front panel jack?
• Did the PC detect the headphones when it was connected at the back panel jack?
• Did you encounter an error message, when the headphones are connected to front panel jack?

Windows 10 No Longer Detects Headphones after a Sound Update?

Let me answer your questions as follows:

1. The front panel is securely plugged and in the correct place.

2. The sound is not disabled in the BIOS since I never mess with the settings in there. This sudden problem appeared after the sound troubleshooting of Windows, following a restart and then the sound was completely gone.

3. See the image below.

4. Headset microphone is not disabled.

5. The properties of the headset appear to be normal with no restrictions.

6. The headphones work perfectly fine in the rear panel.

7. I tested the headphones on another computer and they work just fine.

8. No warning signs in the device manager.

9. My headphone are 3.5 mm.

In conclusion, as I suspect, the front panel jack input has been somehow blocked / disabled after that Windows troubleshooting. Mind you, I don't have Realtek drivers installed now. If I have, I lose completely my sound (from the speakers, which are plugged in the rear panel).
