Windows 10: Frozen Monitor

So I have a laptop connected to my monitor. Everything was going fine and I was taking a break. My laptop goes to sleep, I wake it up then my laptop monitor just becomes a backlight. I restarted my laptop and updated my drivers. Later, I tried to unfreeze it and it works... for a few seconds. Anyone have solutions to this?

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.
