Windows 10: FTPM error on start up, unable to reset pin.

Discus and support FTPM error on start up, unable to reset pin. in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I turned my lenovo windows computer this morning and recieved a new cpu message saying my pin needed to be reset.     FTPM error on start up, unable to reset pin.


    I turned my lenovo windows computer this morning and recieved a new cpu message saying my pin needed to be reset. I don't know if bit locker is on but it doesn't matter. If it is ai already know how to recover that. So first I pressed no do not reset. It does not boot and gives me this message. “press Y to reset FTPM, if you have bitlocker or encryption enabled the system will not boot without recovery key”. Or “press N to keep previous FTPM record and continue system boot, ftpm will not enable in new CPU, you can swap back to old cpu to recover TPM related data and key. So the second time

    Unable to Pin Certain Programs to Start Menu

    Thanks for your replies guys. I am now able to file the FileTypesMan when I do a search in the Start Menu, however, the app is not displayed in the Start Menu alphabetical list. Why is that?

    Trying to reset Microsoft PIN, when trying the steps in settings, forgot pin, try to reset, screen message wait a moment then does nothing. How can I get the pin reset?
