    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    I can understand the situation must be difficult for you when things do not work as they should. However, we would need some more information regarding the issue.



    1. Do you get any error message when you connect the camera?
    2. Were you able to connect the camera to the system before? If so, did you make any recent changes to the computer or camera?
    3. Are you able to connect any other USB device?

    I suggest you to try the following methods and check:

    Method 1: Troubleshoot common USB problems.

    Method 2: Compatibility mode

    If you have got any discs for Camera drivers or install any Camera management software, I would suggest you to install the program in compatibility mode. If you can access the executable (.exe) file for the program, I would suggest
    you to follow the below provided steps:

    Step 1: Download and save the program on the desktop.

    Step 2: Install the program in compatibility mode.

    • Right click on the .exe file, and click on Properties.
    • Go to the Compatibility tab.
    • Check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for:
    • Select Windows 8 (or any other compatible OS) in the list of Operating systems.
    • Click OK.
    • Double-click the executable file to install the program and follow the onscreen instructions.

    Reboot your computer.

    Additional information:

    Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
