My machine came to a halt when I was looking for a recipe on the internet. The security message was very threatening amd warned not to turn of the machine. It advised me to telephone for support. The number was 855 641-1583. Garbled voice. He called me back from 601 206-0507 in Jackson MS. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Claimed to represent Alpha Software Support. He fixed the problem on the promise of paying $199.99 by check, money order or bank transfer. Is this company legitimate? He said their web site was www.alphasoftwaresupport.com and that the payment should be made payable t

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Full stop possible trojan

Virus Trojan:32/Wacatac.DC!ml not completely remediated on Windows PC

One more time, looking for help on this. I go through the extensive list of steps above, including running script, adaware, cleaner and emisoft. No problems noted. I make sure the temp file and WD Service files are empty. I shut down the computer. In the morning I start up and a notification says WD has blocked wacatack trojan. The time listed is the time I shut down.

    Anyone?
